Another "cub" joins the pride!

Adofo: .....Before I met you.....I was always jealous of Simba...he had a family....wife....two kids....and I had no one. When I saw you.....I wanted you to be mine...right then and there. You're my soul mate!

[Iri]

"You had Mufasa and Sarabi," Christen said quietly. "And before you argue that they're not your family just because you're not their birth son, it doesn't matter if they were your biological parents or not- they are your blood parents- literally. And they loved you. You're wrong when you say you didn't have a family. Because family isn't who you're biologically related to you- it's who you love. And you love Mufasa and Sarabi. And they love you." She was rather surprised- she would have thought that Adofo would consider his adopted parents his family.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yeah but...I didn't mean that. And Simba, Nala, Kopa and Kiara are my family too but.....I just really wanted a family of my own. I mean.....before we left for the city.....I'd never seen another human before...I was worried.....I'd never fall in love...

[Iri]

"Well, it's no use dwelling on the past," Christen said gently. "You've fallen in love and you have me."

[Adofo]

Adofo: And our two.......three...kids!

[Iri]

"Well, one of them is on the way," Christen said. She looked at Adofo.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Still...I love you, the kids, my adoptive family...
He put his hand on her tummy
Adofo: ....and this little one!

[Iri]

"Exactly," Christen replied. "And I love you and our kids too."

[Adofo]

Adofo: So....you hungry? You need anything?

[Iri]

"No, actually," Christen replied, shaking her head. "No thanks."
