Why are people so meh towards retail staff at Christmas?! Seriously!

Yeh it sucks . I really feel for retail workers this time of year so I try and be nice and polite to them. Like today someone was being arsey to to girl in Costas. When it was my turn I ended up having a lovely chat with her and she was super nice! Seriously it's not on when people ar meh with retail staff
