Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Adofo]

Enzi was close behind. He liked the way she ran. He thought it was cute

[Iri]

Neema skidded to a halt, her steps slowing and her ears flattening as she lowered herself to the ground. She followed the faint trace of hare, her eyes narrowed as if in deep concentration. She gingerly peered around a corner and eyed a plump mountain rabbit. Sure enough, its hind leg was mangled, laced with fresh scratches and dotted with bruises. It strode with a sort of limp, which, to Neema's satisfaction, would make the job of killing it much simpler and swifter. She never liked to have to fight her prey- she preferred to end her victims' lives with haste, to make it as quick and painless as she could. Though she understood that lions had to hunt for meat to survive, she heavily disliked the idea of making her prey suffer- it seemed cruel and merciless to her.

[So, you've switched over to script style now?]

[Adofo]

Enzi meanwhile, over a small hill, found a hare sleeping in a little nest in the brush and carefully got closer

[Iri]

Neema stalled for a while before pouncing, a snarl etched on her face, a growl rising threateningly from her throat, and her long, hooked claws unsheathed. She lashed her tail and wasn't surprised when the hare abruptly started to flee from her, squealing rather noisily and making its way as far away from her as it possibly could. She could tell it was mustering its energy to run, but she sped after it. After a short-lived chase, she clamped her jaws around its scruff and shook it hard, making sure it was dead. She hastily murmured a "thank you" to the Great Kings of the Past in gratitude for her easily-caught kill, seized her prey from the snow, and began to stride off in the general direction of the cave, wondering where Enzi was.

[Unlike Chaltuu, Neema believes in the Great Kings of the Past, whereas Chaltuu and her family believe in Spirits.]

Enzi pounced on the sleeping hare without trouble and killed it quickly. He picked it up and headed back to Neema.

[Iri]

Neema dropped the hare and sniffed out the rabbit she had previously caught, scraping the damp earth off from the lagomorph. She picked up both rabbits by their scruffs and began to trek back to the den. She flicked some snow noisily down a ledge to get Enzi's attention. "Enshee!" she called through a mouthful of fur. She dropped the rabbits at the cave entrance and spat the fur from her mouth.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Hey! You got one too! Nice work!

[Iri]

Neema shrugged modestly. "It wasn't that hard- besides, its leg was wounded." She glanced towards the caves. "Hey!" she called. "We caught some food." Seemed weak to her, but it didn't matter. Chaltuu and the others emerged from the den, Chaltuu keeping her distance from the others and Kapuki leading a sleepy Shujaa behind her.

[Adofo]

Enzi: How is everyone today?

[Iri]

"Atrocious," Chaltuu muttered grouchily. "Absolutely atrocious."
Shujaa and Kapuki shrugged, but looked far less grumpy than their sister- merely tired. Instead of replying, Shujaa asked, "Where's Alitash?"
