The new danger in the land

Tua: No I just.............have to go....
He started to walk out of the den. He seemed to be acting very distant, like before.

Marini obviously knew that something was wrong, but she preferred not to talk about it in front of the cubs.

A while later Tua returned to the denand saw his mate awake but his cubs asleep. He was trying to avoid eye contact so he turned around to go back outside

"Tua, wait." said Marini upon noticing that her mate was about to leave again. She waited for him to turn around before gesturing for him to come lie down with her.

[Adofo]

Tua nervously we t to lay down with his mate. Still avoiding eye contact.

Marini sighed. "What's wrong?"

Tua: ...It's.....it's nothing.....really...

Marini rolled her eyes. "I'm listening."

[Adofo]

Tua: .....It's another dream thing.....what Zuni said earlier.....reminded me of some dreams. .....in the dreams....everything seemed normal. And then we even adopted a cub! But soon after our litter was born.....we stopped spending so much....alone time...together.......and after a while........you just told me......you weren't attracted to me anymore. You left....and took the kids with you. You abandoned me.....and left me all alone.....the cub in my dreams looks exactly like Zuni! .....what if it really happens?! ..........I......I just........I can't lose you........I can't lose my best friend.....

Marini sighed. "That was just a stupid dream, Tua." she said. "You also dreamed I was carrying Lin's cubs, for crying out loud..."
