The new danger in the land

Tua: You two seem happy!
Zuni: Yeah! Hey Mom? When are the cubs coming?

Marini chuckled. "Any moment now. I don't know." She pulled the two cubs over and nuzzled them both affectionately.

[Adofo]

Zuni: Mom? .....are you going to have more after these?

[TheWhistlerify]

Marini shook her head. "Probably not, honey."

[Adofo]

Zuni: Oh.......why?

[TheWhistlerify]

"I have my reasons." said Marini as she gave the cub a quick lick. "What you should know is that it's my decision. You need to respect the decisions others make."

[Adofo]

Zuni: Did I upset you?! ....I'm sorry, mom! Please don't abandon me!
He took her words in a very negative way, somehow. Tears started to flow from his eyes.

Marini looked shocked. "No, Zuni, of course not!" She held the cub close, trying to calm him down.

[Adofo]

Zuni: I don't want to be abandoned! I don't want to be alone!
He started to cry

"We would never do that to you." said Marini softly, nuzzling the cub tenderly.
Mufasa's ears dropped against his head. He just couldn't bear to see his little brother like this. He walked over to him and snuggled closely, licking the tears off his cheek.
