Tua: Okay. ......Need someone to cuddle with?!

Marini smiled. "That would be nice." She rested her head in Tua's mane. "Where are the boys?"

Tua: Out playing with their cousins. Meaning, Zuni and Muffy are playing and Siari and Nuru are kissing somewhere! So.......you excited? I mean.....the last time you'll give birth.....does it seem weird to you?

Marini giggled as Tua explained just what "playing" really meant. "Not really..." she said.

Tua: And.....baby.....I'm sorry about pushing you to.....to have a third litter. It was just stupid and selfish of me. Plain and simple. .....nothing more...

Marini gave Tua a quick lick across his muzzle. "Is there any food left?" she asked.

Tua: Yeah. Here you go.
He gave her what was left of a giraffe.

"Thank you, honey." said Marini, licking Tua again before digging in. "Zuni's definitely opened up ever since we adopted him."

Tua: Yeah! He sure has!
