The new danger in the land

The little cub looked at the food and slowly in hed over to it. He slowly began to eat.
Tua: So....what's your name?
???: .....Z-....Zuni....sir....

Marini smiled. "That's a beautiful name." she said. "Where are you from, Zuni? Did something happen to you?"

[Adofo]

Zuni: .....My dad.....he left me......he said I was....different...

Marini looked shocked. Different? What was that supposed to mean? And how that a reason to abandon a cub? "Well, you're more than welcome to stay here." she said. A cub couldn't survive on his own. "I know the king wouldn't mind at all."

Zuni: ....R-really?! ....th-thank you...ma'am....

Marini smiled. What a cute little cub Zuni was. "You can call me Marini, Zuni." she said. "This is my mate Tua and one of our sons, Mufasa." She chuckled as she noticed Mufasa was standing between her legs, looking a bit unsure as to what to do. "Go on, honey." She gently nudged the pale cub forward with her nose.

Zuni: H-.......Hi...

Mufasa blinked a few times. "Hello..." Zuni seemed... nervous, like he was. That was... a little comforting, in a way. "I'm Mufasa." he said, managing a small smile.

Zuni: .....N-nice to meet you.....

Mufasa's smiled widened a little. "It's nice to meet you, too!" he said, and was about to approach when something inside him stopped him. "Um... Is it okay if I come closer?"
