The new danger in the land

Tua: I was just......so scared of telling you.........I was worried if I just asked for you to adopt me......if you said no.......you'd make me leave just so it wouldn't have to be awkward.

"But that would have been absurd, Tua..." said Sarabi reassuringly.

Tua: I know......but I was a cub.......the only thing I ever wanted was to call someone.....Mom and Dad.......I ways tried dropping hints....but you never picked up on any. And I was just so nervous and scared to ask. I mean its not something you just ask on a regular day! ......I always thought.....maybe you never offically adopted me because....I did something wrong or maybe just plain...you didn't want me. .....when ever you would reffer to me you would say something like, Simba's friend. Or buddy. Or.......just anything other than son. .........That's all I ever wished for...

"But now you know that that wasn't the case." said Sarabi as she nuzzled her adopted son tenderly. "Please, Tua, we've been over this who knows how many times... Stop constantly thinking about what doesn't matter anymore. For your own good."

Tua: Okay.........I love you, Mommy!
He gave his adoptive mother a huge kiss.

Sarabi smiled. "I love you too, son!"

Nuru snuggled up to his mother
Nuru: I love you, mommy!!

Marini giggled. "I love you too, honey." she said, releasing Mufasa from her gentle grip. "And you've arrived just in time!" She grabbed Nuru and began to give him a bath.

Nuru: Awww dang it!!!

Mufasa giggled as he nuzzled his brother. "Silly!" He snuggled closely to Nuru as their mother continued to clean him.
