Two Crazy TLK Theories

Like my previous submission here, this isn't exactly fan art, but it seemed like the best place to post it. These are just a couple of "theories" based on some of my observations of TLK and media related to it that I thought I'd put together just for fun. The pictures are pretty big, so be prepared for a wait if you have a dial-up connection.

My theory about Nala's understudy

About the theories: I never thought about both subjects, and I must say, your theories DO make sense for me. I never compared Nala's "understudy" with Vitani, I guess it's all a crazy coincidence of little Disney-mistakes in coloring, but it is funny that these mistakes turn out almost the same way.

About the ear rims, you state that cub Vitani has no earrims, adult Vitani has earrims. You say newborn Vitani should have had earrims in your theory.. Is that based on the fact that newborn Kiara (a.k.a Fluffy in movie 1) has earrims?

Thanks. Just goes to show what crazy lengths some people (i.e., myself) can go to to make sense out of TLK's continuity errors. I actually didn't notice the eyeshadow and disappearing ear rims on Nala's understudy until I was actually putting that picture together, which makes for quite an interesting little coincidence (even though cub Nala's understudy's ear rims completely contradict the ear rim theory. Maybe the cubs in the comics are part of a different subspecies of lion or something).

Yes. if the TLK cub really is Kiara (as Disney would have us believe), then her presentation happened again sometime later because of the extreme differences in the presentation at the beginning of SP and the way baby Kiara looks and acts much older in SP than she does in TLK.
