Love at First Sight: Melody & Derek (kitkat39 & NKL!)

I just have to say, Morgan is such a ---! I know I can't type it on here, but I can think about it. I seriously can't believe she would do that to Derek!

I looked at Mom and asked her, "Wait, what? I thought you...." Then she continued for me, "I would scream at you for not telling me? Of course not, Melody! I'm so proud of you, you need to have someone in your life who will love you for who you are and everything else. Just like your father did with me...." I nodded, thinking about Derek, when suddenly, Sebastian, Grandfather's most trusted.... whatever, came up to us from the ocean and said, "Ariel! Melody! I have great news! There is going to be a wedding! And the bride and groom are Morgan and Derek!!" Then he looked at me, seeing the pale expression on my face, and said, "Melody? What's wrong dear?" I shook my head, thinking, 'What? That can't be.... He loves me, not Morgan!' Then, before I knew what I was doing, I ran into the ocean and swam to Atlantica, hoping to find Derek and get to the bottom of this. "Derek!!!" I called, hoping he could hear me.

(Yeah. I would say what I based her lines off of, but you wouldn't know who or what it is, so... )

I could hear Melody's voice in the distance. What was she doing here? I didn't want to hurt her feelings, so I stayed in my hiding spot, making sure she couldn't see me. I'm sorry, Melody. I hope you understand.

(Okay. Short post. Sorry about that. I was going to say something else, but now I can't remember. Oh, well. )

It's alright, I feel sorry for Derek

"Derek, please, answer me!" I called out again as I swim around some more. Not hearing him call back, I swam over to a coral that looked like a chair, then I just cried, feeling hurt and confused. "Why, Derek, why?" I said through my tears.

(Yeah. I feel bad for both of them. )

I noticed Melody sit on the chair-like coral, only a few feet away from my hiding spot. I saw her break down in tears, and guilt filled me. But I had to keep her safe from true heartbreak. I swam away silently, and soon found myself at a lair. It musthave been abandoned by now, because everyone lived in Atlantica. I swam in there, and sat down at a random spot.

I remember what I meant to say - or rather, ask - last time: Who's Morgana: you or me? If it's you, then go ahead and add her in the next post.

I cried for a little bit, and then I took a deep breath. "It can't be true, it just can't!" I said as I looked around.

[Queen Elsa]

I took a few deep breaths, trying to calm myself down. Out of nowhere, I heard someone say, "Welcome, dear. Please, come in, come in!" I opened my eyes to see Morgana, the green sea witch, standing a few feet away. I had never met her in person, but I knew what she and her sister, Ursula, had done in the past, and that she had been frozen by Triton. I reluctantly swam closer to her, but before I could say anything she said, "I know what you're probably thinking: how did I get out of my ice prison? Well, that doesn't exactly matter. What does matter is your problems. You have a love triangle thing going on, if I'm correct?" I nodded, stunned. "Well, those are never fun, but I could probably help you."

"How so?" I asked.

"Well, I may not be good as my sister, but I do know how to do some things, and fixing love problems is one of them," she answered. She got up and grabbed a potion off of the shelf. "Now, this potion can help you forget one person and replace them with another, and not even remember anything about the first person."

"I don't want to forget either of them. I just want this rumor about me loving Morgan to end forever," I said.

"But if you never even think or remember Morgan, she can't be a problem," Morgana reasoned. "Now, just drink this, and you'll forget all about her."

"What's in it for you?" I asked.

"For me? Nothing! I am doing this purely for you," she answered. "Now, whoever you think of last, that's who you'll forget. Simple as that." I grabbed the potion bottle and opened it up.

"Are you sure this will work?" I asked.

"Guarantee it," Morgana replied.

"Okay. Here goes, then," I said, and drank the potion, thinking of Morgan. Just as the potion was almost through, I remembered leaving Melody heartbroken. Then, I completely forgot about her.

Okay. Don't kill me! But I thought this would be great to do. And you know the cure for it already, I'm sure. But I hope this was good enough.

I felt a strange heaviness in my chest, then I swam toward this lair, and what I saw made me speechless. It was Derek, and he was with Morgana, the evil sea witch who tricked me into stealing Grandfather's trident. "Derek, get away from her! I yelled as I swam in front of him to protect him. "What are you doing here, Morgana?"

[Queen Elsa]

"Helping your friend," Morgana replied, gesturing behind the princess.

"How do you know my name?" Derek asked Melody. "I don't think I've ever seen you before in my life."

I looked at Derek, surprised by how he was acting. "Derek, it's me, Melody. Don't you remember?" I looked at the bottle in his hand, took it and said to Morgana, "What is this? What have you done?!?"

[Queen Elsa]

I looked at this girl - Melody - with confusion. Was I supposed to know her? Morgana turned to me.

"Do you mind leaving now, Derek?" she asked. I nodded, and left the lair.

Morgana turned to Melody. "I was just helping your friend with his love problems. I told him that whoever he thought of last was the person he would forget," she explained. "I can't control who or what he thinks about. That was him."
