Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

A few weeks pass and Enzi is enjoying being with his new pride. They really are like family to him

[Iri]

Neema's feelings had never changed for Enzi. Though she wasn't absolutely nuts over him and always trying to get his attention, she was still in love with him. The fact that he only loved her like a sister or friend didn't bother her much. She had never felt "betrayed" by it- though it had hurt a little at first, she had gotten over it and they remained close friends, though she never spoke again about her affection for him.
Chaltuu had remained as gruff and stoic as ever, not going on any more dates with Enzi. They had still only shared that first "date"- which, in her perspective, was the most ludicrous and unnecessary concept that ever existed- and she had flatly refused to go on any more of them. Though she wasn't as impudent and blunt as she had been when the pride first formed, she remained brusque and snappish.
Kapuki, unlike her sister, had become less aggressive, though she still kept her biting wit and sharp tongue and wasn't necessarily sweet, but she had become more civil towards the rest of the pride and lost most of her snappy attitude.
Shujaa remained mostly the same- shy and quiet and timorous, but since Alitash's arrival, had become more used to being in the pride due to her having a friend.

[Sorry for that long thing-a-ma-bobber. I just wanted to type out the progress that the pride was making.]

[Adofo]

Alitash: HEY! What cha wanna do, Shujaa?!

[Iri]

Shujaa shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know," she replied softly. "You choose." She stretched and rose to her feet, brushing the earth and snow from her light greyish-brown fur.

Neema was taking a break from sorting herbs and was talking with Enzi. "You want Chaltuu to be your Queen, don't you?" she said softly. It wasn't like it was a huge secret- after all, the entire pride knew that Enzi was in love with Chaltuu. But Neema didn't know if Chaltuu loved Enzi back. No one knew, really- considering the fact that the russet lioness kept to herself and refused to share most of what she thought about, it was a mystery.

[Adofo]

Alitash: Let's go catch snowflakes!

Enzi: .....Yeah...I do.....I love her with all my heart.....but she thinks I don't mean it.

[Iri]

Shujaa giggled. "How? They'll melt."

Neema smiled sympathetically, before her brow furrowed. "Wait, she thinks you don't mean it when you tell her you love her?" She was confused. If someone had told her they loved her, she definitely would have believed them.

[Adofo]

Alitash: We try to see who's snowflakes melt the slowest!

Enzi: Yeah.....I wish she could understand...

[Iri]

Shujaa stuck her tongue out playfully. "Deal."

"Understand how?" Neema asked kindly. She tilted her head. She wondered if Chaltuu didn't believe Enzi, or if the russet lioness didn't return Enzi's feelings. She didn't voice her thoughts, however.

[Adofo]

Alitash ran outside and stuck her paw out to catch a flake

Enzi: I'm.....not sure.

[Iri]

[Should Chaltuu reveal to Enzi that she doesn't love him back soon?]

Shujaa smirked playfully and pushed her paw out in front of her, waiting for a snowflake to land lightly on her paw. "Kappy said that all snowflakes are different," she declared to Alitash.

Neema tilted her head to the side again. "Maybe she doesn't 'not believe you' when you tell her you love her... maybe she's had a hard time with romance in the past...?" She knew that was a stupid argument, as Chaltuu was not likely to be involved in romantic relationships in the past, but she was trying her best to comfort Enzi.
