Or they just didn't care and showed some old stuff. ;)
I guess that is just as strong of a possibility.

I'm really excited. I have a positive bias towards anything Disney.

First time replying to this topic. :P
Personally, I believe that The Lion Guard will not live up to the movies themselves, but I gotta admit that I liked Kion's design.
Since this is aimed to preschool children, I'm not expecting "the best animation ever", but I really hope it is not "bad" or somehow "sloppy"

Alrighty. As first business of posting outside of my intro thread... I do decree I give my opinions on The Lion Guard.

So. As excited as I am for this series, I've got two qualms. First off: I wish they hadn't announced it was coming out, like, a year before it's supposed to. x_x Second, I am worried about the quality of the show. As someone who has two younger brothers and a nephew who watch Disney Junior, I've seen most of the usual shows. In my opinion, I'm hoping the show's closer to ones like Sofia the First, where it wouldn't be shoving educational-entertainment stuff down kids' throats. Stuff like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Neverland Pirates... yuck. I can't help but feel they've altered classic Disney characters for the worst in those 'toons.
