Hmm what I would do is take a time to be alone in your room and think about all these avents. Which are the worst? Why? How does that effect you? How can you be optimistic about it? Will you be fine?
Or you could just do one of these simples steps I found in an AG book:
Think about an event you DON'T want to happen. Then think of 'then what would happen?' to yourself. then answer it.
Example:
I wish I had an XBox
(Then what would happen?)
I guess I would play all day?
(Then what would happen?)
Mom would probably kick me out.
(Then what would happen?)
I guess I couldn't go on the XBox
