The world needs linguists. Your job prospects will be drastically better if you are multi-lingual, and the fact that you're learning them off your own bat and not just for school is something to be applauded, not discouraged.

nope, my parents are rather traditionalist in the sense that they think that English is superior to other languages therefore we shouldn't bother learning other langues.
I try to continue learning, i can practice my French when we occasionally go skiing, and i have a German friend at school who is very helpful. But unfortunately im really limited when it comes to my Russian as im only 15, so i dont have credit cards to order books or classes :\
