I love that they referenced Death Note in last night's Emmerdale. One of the writers must be a manga / anime fan. That was also the first I'd heard about the new movie version.

Yeah, it was really random. Finn and Robert were talking about looking forward to the new Death Note movie and Robert said how he prefers the original manga. I looked it up on Wikipedia and they are actually making a new live-action Hollywood movie.
