Simba let out a sigh of relief, embracing his adopted brother as well. "Come on, I'll carry you out of here." There was no telling whether the hyenas might suddenly come back.

[Adofo]

Tua: Thank you...for saving me!

"Don't thank me." said Simba with a smile as he placed Tua on his back. The group then began to head back towards Pride Rock.

[Adofo]

Soon they all returned.
Nuru: DADDY!!!!!!!!!!
He ran to his fathers side. Horror-struck.
Nuru: DADDY!! Are you okay!?!?!?!?!

Marini nuzzled both of their cubs, trying to calm them down as Simba placed Tua on the ground. "Your faher is going to be okay..." she said soothingly.

[Adofo]

Nuru laid down in his fathers arms and waiting for his brother to do the same.

Marini settled down closely to Tua as their two cubs huddled up between his paws. "How are you feeling?" she asked quietly, licking his cheek.

[Adofo]

Tua: Better...niw that I have all my loved ones with me!

(Should tomorrow be the day she goes into heat?)

Marini smiled a small smile, glad that her mate was in high spirits. "But, physically?" she asked. He still seemed a little weak not to mention that Simba had had to carry him back to the den.
