The new danger in the land

Nuru shrak back and tried to hid in his fathers mane. Though he usually was a little more cocky, he felt like his mother was mad at him as she said that.
Shortly, Marini returned with water. And their boys still hiding in their fathers mane from their mother.
Tua: Thank you, baby!

Marini placed the small bowl of water next to Tua and lay down beside him. She nuzzled their cubs, giggling as Mufasa purred and licked her nose with his tiny tongue in response.

Nuru: are you mad at us, mommy?

Marini shook her head. "No." she said with a smile. "Why, did you do something bad while I was gone?"

Nuru: No.....what you said when you left.....we're sorry...

"Oh..." Marini chuckled, giving Nuru's tiny head a soft lick. "That's fine." As long as they'd listen to her for a change, that is...

[Adofo]

Nuru: .....so you don't hate me anymore?!

[TheWhistlerify]

"What??" Marini quickly shook her head. "Hate you? You're my son!"

[Adofo]

Nuru: But you always taught us....if someone is mad at you, they hate you

Marini raised an eyebrow for a brief moment. "I never said that." That sounded anything but true. She was sometimes mad at Tua, but that didn't mean she hated him...
