Tua: Yeah...I feel so pathetic right now. This isn't what you expected when you said "yes" to my proposal.

Marini sighed and supported Tua as he got up and they resumed walking slowly. "I wasn't expecting anything..." she admitted with a slight chuckle. "I was still in the whole mode of doubt about romance at the time..."

Tua: ......you still love your little "doofus"? As much as the day you said yes?

Marini nodded with a slight giggle. "Of course I do."

Tua: ...Any regrets about saying yes?!
He said playfully

Marini rolled her eyes playfully. "Nah..."

Tua laid his head in her paws.
Tua: You gonna love me forever and ever?!

Marini laughed a short laugh. "Yes, silly..." She licked the top of his head. "Now come on, let's go home."

Tua: Okay!
He stood back up and stayed as close as he could to his mate. Not for help walking, but to just be close to his love. After they made it to the den, Tua laid down in his usual spot.
Tua: Boys! Come here! You want to come lay down with Daddy!?
He left a big open space in his arms for his sons to lay in

Obviously relieved to see their father okay and back in the den, Mufasa and Nuru immediately ran over to the lion and nuzzled up against him.
