Watching the news and seeing these brave men and women risking their lives in West Africa for the good of humanity ... wow. It just makes me take a step back and put things in perspective. Our society idolizes and worships celebrities to a point where it's easy to lose sight of who the true heroes in the world are.

I don't have anyone to ask so I might as well ask here, even though I know I probably won't get any good answers:

Are there any GOOD furry websites/communities out there? Ones that don't revolve around sex? Ones that aren't full of inconsiderate, uncouth douchebags?

It's like every furry I meet always has some sort of attitude problem. "Go away if you want pics of furry girls" or "I'm taking over this thread, I don't care what it was originally meant for".

Also those that don't involve fursuiting, and NO SEXUALITY. I just want a place where I can be part of a tight-knit community, build lasting friendships with people who know when to bend and cater for someone who isn't themselves, and share clean, vanilla furry art.

No furaffinity. It's too large and also full of bad people.

I wish we'd had better options for our papers. This work is too shallow for an essay of this length. Oh well, I'll get it done, I can BS my way through any class.

^ Me too. I often have to write about things like "Fantomina" that are sorta short? And not all that easy to write on. Like I've had to write 8-10 pages about a single poem before. So I've become a master at BSing.
