The new danger in the land

Tua: .....Okay. .....Marini......if you could have any and all other males in the entire world...myself included...who all would you choose to love?

Marini looked a little taken aback by the question. "You, of course!" She smiled a small smile. "I thought you already knew that..."

[Adofo]

Tua: Well...I mean you could have me and a million other males! Or any number! Even if you could choose to love all the males in the world...you'd only ever choose me?!?

[TheWhistlerify]

Marini nodded. "Yes... Why would I need all the males in the world when I have you?"

[Adofo]

Tua: Awwwww!
He licked her across her muzzle
Tua: Thank you, baby! .....And I'd do the same.....I'd only choose me!
He teased
Tua: Honey.......what happens.....next time you....go into heat? We just...stop being romantic until its over?

Marini found it impossible not to laugh at Tua's little joke. "I'll make sure to tell Simba and every other male I know. I'm sure they'll be jealous!" When the subject of her going into heat again came up, she slowly nodded her head. "For the time being, yes." Nuru and Mufasa had very recently stop feeding on milk so it would only be a matter of time until she went into heat again. At least, that's what Nala had told her.

Tua: .....Okay.....and I won't take advantage of you. No matter what you say to me...no matter what you do...I won't do anything. .....I know how much you hate the idea if having more litters...so I don't want to upset you. No more litters. Ever. Period.

"I never said that..." said Marini with a slight roll of her eyes. "I just don't know if I want another litter yet or not." The last time they'd spoken about the subject ended with her telling him that she needed to think about it, so the young lioness had no idea as to what made him jump to such a drastic conclusion.

Tua: Oh please. Through the whole pregnancy all you did was complain about being pregnant. Getting fattier. Not being able to do much. The constant cravings and mood swings. And even today the only good thing you ever mention about the pregnancy is that it was worth it only after you saw the boys. You haven't said any other good things. ...You never even thanked me for giving you the opprotunity to bare my cubs...even though I thanked you numerous times. .....face it.....Mufasa and Nuru were our first...and our last.

"All lionesses complain about being fat, not being able to do much, getting morning sicknesses and having mood swings." said Marini with a frown. "What, do you think I wasn't excited about being pregnant? And I did thank you. More than once. Maybe you've just forgotten because you were busy putting up with my complaining. Well, sorry I was confused and worried because of all the changes my body was going through and because of the fact that there were living cubs growing up inside me. Or maybe you can't notice how much I love the boys." She crawled from underneath Tua and jumped off the hammock. "I'm going. I don't want to miss the hunting party. I'll see you later."

(She actually did thank him at least once. Just saying.)
