The new danger in the land

Tua: Well then...we'll see! They done eating?

Vitani: He's right!

Marini took a close look. "It looks like it." Nuru and Mufasa were cuddling up to each other and looking rather sleepy.

Siari beamed happily. Not only did her father think she was the cutest, but her new mother agreed with him! Kopa nuzzled the cub before walking into the den with his little family.

Tua: Okay! They're all yours! Come on, Marini!

Kopa lay down in front of the two newborns as Tua and Marini left. Siari nuzzled them, giggling as Nuru mewled in response. "They seem sleepy!" she said.

Vitani: Lets let them rest!

Tua and Marini went down to the waterhole. No one was around and they went inside a bare spot in the middle of some bushes.
Tua: Perfect spot! Care to join me!?

Siari left Nuru and Mufasa alone and instead walked over to her parents. She sat down between her father's paws, purring haplily as he began to lick her gently. "So... What do you think?" he asked, looking at his new mate with a smile.

Marini grinned. That spot was perfect. "You know... It sure is nice to have my stomach back to myself again..." she said sensually as she circled the male. "I can move around as freely as ever." she stopped in front of him and stretched, flicking her tail at his muzzle as she did.

Vitani: They are adorable! I can't wait to have a litter of my own!

Tua: Yep! Just the two of us!

Siari looked at the two adults curiously. "What's a litter, daddy?" she asked, looking confused.
"It's what we call a group of cubs that were born together." Kopa explained with a smile. "Siblings aren't necessarily littermates, but Mufasa and Nuru are. Do you understand?"
The cub nodded. "What does it mean to have a litter?"
The prince chuckled. His daughters curiosity was one of the things that made her so adorable. "It means becoming pregnant and having cubs."

Marini smiled slyly as she brushed past him affectionately and resumed her circling, this time stopping behind him. "How convenient." she chuckled.

Vitani kept her mouth shut so she wouldn't say the wrong thing.

Tua: uh huh!

Siari tilted her head in confusion. "But how does that happen?" she asked. Her father chuckled, rubbing the back of his head with a paw.
"Nobody knows."

Marini gave on of Tua's hind legs a teasing nibble.
