Kiara slowly shook her head. She'd cried over this so many times that she doubted she even had any tears left to shed over the matter.
Her attention was soon caught by the sound of her niece, who ran into the den in a rather loud manner. "Auntie, auntie!" she exclaimed excitedly, rubbing her little form against Kiara's head. She'd gotten a little bigger since Kopa had brought her to the Pride Lands, but she was still a very young cub. After all, when her father had returned, she was still feeding on milk. "Did you see the new cubs?? They're so small!"
Kiara couldn't help but chuckle. "You were that small once too, you know." she said. Siari was just adorable in every way. "Your father and grandfather were, too."
"No way!"
