Kiara seemed to hesitate a little for whatever reason while Kovu appeared to be mostly focused on what she was doing. "I..." The princess slowly brought her paw over towards Nuru, who sniffed it curiously, before gently placing it over the tiny cub's body.

Tua: .....You okay Kiara?

Kiara slowly nodded. "Yeah..." She withdrew her paw as Nuru started purring at the contact. The cub let out a confused mewl in response. "Excuse me..." letting out a sigh, she turned around and headed back into the den.
Simba sighed as he watched her go. "She's getting better..." Kovu said after a short silence. "She just needs some more time, that's all..."

Tua went after her.
Tua: .......Kiara? .......Can we talk?

Kiara was lying in the back of the den, facing the wall. "Sure..." she said quietly, not even bothering to look at Tua.

He walked up next to her and laid down. He snuggled as close as he could to her. He put his paws on top of hers.
Tua: ...You okay sweetheart?

Kiara slowly nodded. "Yeah..." she said. "I'm happy for you and Marini. Really."

Tua: ...You would have been a great mother! .....And you will! ....Someday. Just.....wait a while. Take all the time in the world you need. .....Okay?
