The new danger in the land

Tua smiled as he saw his mate reunite with an old friend. But he didn't want to ruin her mood so he went to the back of the cave and laid down. Along the way back he grabbed a small log. He started carving it.

Siari, who was now well rested and no longer hungry, walked up to the two of them curiously. "Daddy?" she asked in an adorable voice, getting the attention of the two. "Who is this?" She has already met her grandfather, grandmother, aunt and great-grandmother, so she seemed quite excited to see who this lioness was.
Marini looked at Kopa for a short moment. Daddy? The cub didn't look much like him, but she did have his eyes. "Kopa, is she yours?" she asked, obviously surprised.
"She is." said the prince with a warm smile and a sense of pride in his tone as he bent over to nuzzle his daughter. Siari purred happily in response. "Siari, this is Marini. She's a good friend of mine." he explained.

Tua was quickly carving a statue of him and Marini. He was going fast but it already looked amazing.

"Oh, Kopa!" Marini smiled and giggled. Siari was the cutest thing she'd ever seen! "She's beautiful!"
The cub beamed at the compliment. The pretty, grown up lioness thought she was beautiful! She also giggled as her father gave her a big, slurpy and affectionate lick. "Daddy!" she exclained / complained, turning around and fleeing towards the rest of her family. She tripped on the way, but immediately stood back up in a completely adorable manner before settling down between her grandfather's paws. Simba and Nala both nuzzled their granddaughter, much to her delight. She was getting so much attention!

Tua was getting close to finishing. He didn't look up towards Marini because he knew seeing his face would bring her mood down.

At some point, while Kopa and the rest of the adults were talking, Siari became bored. Her attention was easily caught by Tua, who was on his own doing something weird in the corner of the den. The cub wandered over. "What are you doing?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with childish curiosity.

Tua: I'm just.....making something.......for the one I love.
By then he was putting on the finishing touches. It was him and Marini sitting side by side, his paw on top of one of hers. And a little cub at their paws, staring up at them and smiling. It was on a base that was part of the same log. On the empty space he left, there was a heart surrounding a few words. It said "You have my heart, my soul, my love and my cub! I will love you forever! -Tua"

Obviously curious, Siari walked over and took a close look. "Ooh..." She giggled, staring up at the adult. "It's really cool!"

Tua: No.....it's stupid. I know she won't like it. It's for the lioness you met. Marini. But.....I know she'd take one look at it and throw it away. .....She should just throw me away too.......all I am is trash.

Siari tilted her head to the side, confused by how Tua was talking. "She won't throw it away!" she protested. "It's cool!" She then giggled once more, looking at the statue. "How did you do make this?"
