The new danger in the land

"You're right." said Simba with a slight frown. "Because Nuka was Zira's son, Tua. Or was he really? Because he wasn't treated like one."

Tua: Don't you compare me to him! At least in the end she showed she loved him! And it's easy for you to say that because you have parents! And so did he!!!!! When you were a cub, your parents played with you! Kissed you! Gave you bathes! Kissed your injuries when you got hurt! And told you they loved you EVERY DAY!!!!!! WELL I DIDN'T!!!!!! I GROOMED MYSELF! I KISSED MY OWN INJURIES!!! I PRETENDED EVERY NIGHT......I had a mother and father......and before bed.......they said they loved me. ........and even.....when you and Nala were playing with your own parents...........i had to go sit alone......by myself.......and do absolutely nothing.......

"So you think mom doesn't love you?" asked Simba with a frown. "Fine. Be that way. When you calm down I'm sure she'll be glad to get an explanation and an aplogy for the way you just ran off like that." Turning around, the king left.

After everyone went to bed, Tua was still in the exact same spot. The next morning, he was gone. There was a note on a log in front of Simba when he woke up that said "Simba, I am sorry for everything. Not just yesterday. Since i was taken into the pride, I was nothing more than a burden. Just another mouth to feed. The only thing I wanted most in the world, was to be an offical part of your family. But now...any chance I had if any I clearly blew yesterday. I upset you and your mother. And you know what comes next after you anger royalty. Exile. So i have left forever. By the time you read this, i'll probably be dead from exhaustion so don't bother looking for me. I guess I wasn't really the "big brother" you wanted all along. But please as my last two wishes...let my parents stay. And take care of Marini and my cub! -Your brother, Tua"
But the "Your brother," part had a big X through it.

When Simba found out that Tua hasn't returned yet, he went to the exact same spot to see if he was still there. He found the log and was definitely expecting to see what was written on it. When he returned to the den, Marini, Tua's parents and Sarabi all came up to him to hear whether he'd seen Tua or not. Of course, what he had to tell them shocked them greatly. "He what?!" asked Marini, her mouth wide open. "You have to look for him!"

"I... I don't know where to start looking... He could have gone in any direction."

Marini ran out of the den with tears rolling down her cheeks, even though she knew she wouldn't be able to run for long.

Tua had been running for hours. He was really tired but kept going

As Tua ran he all of a sudden heard the sound of somebody asking him to stop. Turning in the direction of the voice, he saw a young adult male making his way towards him. The lion had a very young cub on his back, who was asleep and looked very much exhausted. But what caught Tua's attention the most was that he looked a lot like Simba.
"Excuse me, do you know where-" Suddenly he paused, a shocked expression appearing on his face. "T-Tua?"

Tua: Y-yes? Who are you?

"What, don't you remember me?" asked the young lion, managing to smile despite the situation he was in. He grinned a grin that was absolutely typical for his father. "It's me, Kopa."
