Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

"Why should I trust you?" Chaltuu said, her voice trembling with fury. "And how do you know that I've been hurt?" Her tail lashed angrily. How dare this lion strut up to her and act as if she was suddenly so in love with him? She was not! And she never would be! Romance was a waste of time, a pathetic concept.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Because......I'm just like you.....alone.....and scared. And I can tell your past by a few things. The way you talk. What you say. How you look. And other things. If I betray you, you could even fight me if you wish! Or even kill me if you really want too! .....I won't fight back.

[Iri]

"I'm not scared!" Chaltuu spat defiantly.
She was definitely not the killing type. But if he hurt her in any way, she'd hurt him right back. She thought for a second. Just because she was alone didn't mean she was lonesome. Chaltuu herself hated the company of others, and rather preferred to stay on her own instead of accompanying someone.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Please.....I love you! I just ask for one chance!
A tear started to form in each of his eyes and they slowly went down his nose.

[Iri]

Chaltuu turned away. "I'm not promising anything," she warned. But she didn't say anything more than that. She hoped that Enzi would at least take that as a hint that she would allow him to follow her. Her tail flicked. She still refused to step paw outside, when it was so sunny and light. She'd continue her journey when the sun went down.

[Adofo]

Enzi: I'll prove just how much I love you! .....Thank you for the chance!

[Iri]

"Humph," Chaltuu said gruffly. She settled down on the ground. "I'll continue my journey when the moon rises." She grunted a little, but she wasn't asleep. She was just going to rest until the sun fell and the moon rose to take the sun's place. She absolutely loathed the sun and the daylight. She much preferred darkness, a shadowy cobalt sky and only the moon shining from above. At night she was always able to see the Lone Star- one she could very easily relate to.

[Adofo]

Enzi: So I have until then to impress you! Okay!
He started scratching the wall of the cave. a few hours past as the sun was getting lower and he was finally done.
Enzi: Finished!
It was a carving of him and Chaltuu with the bottom of their paws pressing against each others and their muzzle's touching as they were looking into each others eyes

Chaltuu turned and stared at it. It was a beautiful carving, no doubt. She didn't smile, but she nodded.
"It's beautiful," she said- her voice was a bit more gentle than gruff and brusque this time. She had to admit to herself that she was impressed by it- but not enough for him to prove that he truly loved her. It wasn't like Chaltuu was selfish or greedy- she just couldn't feel yet like she was truly loved.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Thank you! And now...to prove my undying love for you.
He extened a single claw and turned his other paw over to his paw pad. He started carving her name into his paw and finally put a big heart around it
