Another Private RP with Adofo/Iri

[Iri]

"No! Absolutely not," the red-furred lioness scoffed. She could take care of herself and she most certainly didn't need any help. Sure, the strong, sharp scent of the two freshly-killed zebras was tantalizing, but she was too proud, too full of dignity to take an offer of prey. She hadn't softened one bit, for she was still wary of the male- but she disguised her discomfort with anger and aggression. She didn't step forward or step back, but her hostile green gaze were still intertwined with the male's.

[Adofo]

Enzi: Okay. Well...if you change your mind, i'm pretty sure you know how to follow the scent.
The lion left to go to his meal.

[Iri]

Chaltuu rolled her eyes. Humph! At least this one wasn't the type to try to persuade her. She turned her back and started washing her paws- not that she wanted to groom her scruffy, unkempt pelt, but she had nothing else to do. She decided she would hunt in the morning. Settling down on a cold boulder, she rested her chin on her paws, but kept her ears perked and alert to make sure nobody tried to sneak up on her. She still felt wary and restless, but tried not to display her fear or impatience.

[Adofo]

By morning there was only one zebra left. The other was all bones. But Enzi stuck around and watch the lioness in the distance.

[Iri]

[Stalker Enzi... -Runs-]

Chaltuu lifted her head. Though she wasn't some psychic, she could tell that someone's gaze was resting on her. She spun around, her eyes narrowed once again. The cold rocks beneath her felt comfortable, though she didn't want sunlight on her.
Sunlight! It was morning? Already? She guessed that through a night of endlessly searching, the time had passed quickly. The dark cobalt sky was gone- now a pale, bright turquoise. She scrambled to be paws and crouched, her paws sort of sailing under her as she quickly sped to a darker cavern. It was very close by, but it provided comfortable shelter.

[Adofo]

Enzi just laid and stared at her from afar. He was curious about this lioness.

[Iri]

Chaltuu rolled her eyes at this stranger. Who did he think he was? Besides, wasn't he as superstitious as her father and pride? The ridiculous "red fur symbolizes war and bloodshed" garbage? Humph. She flicked her tail again, shielding her eyes from the sunlight. Sometimes she felt like the only lioness who truly despised daylight. Sure, most lions and lionesses were nocturnal, but she never spent more than a few seconds out in broad daylight. Too risky, much too risky.

[What's Enzi's past?]

(His mother died. They were both just travelers. They are nice. Originally Adofo saved him from a lion and he joined the Pridelanders later on but for this, he never got attacked and never heard of the pridelanders. But his mom did die when he was a cub.)

Enzi decided to go try to talk to the lioness. He headed up to her cave and stood a ways outside the entrance.
Enzi: Hey. Think we can talk?

[Iri]

[Aw... Sad. :T]

Chaltuu jerked. She thought she had been hallucinating when she noticed the stranger approach. She composed herself swiftly, clearing her throat. "Why would you, a normal lion, want to talk to me?" she queried. Her voice held no curiosity though- just coldness and icy "politeness". She huffed a little, sitting up neatly. Her head was tilted to the side ever so slightly and her narrowed eyes were filled with a frigid glare, as if about to give a speech of criticism. But she wasn't, so she nodded to let him respond to her "question".

[Adofo]

Enzi: Just to talk. I know you probably don't like to talk to others much...but I was wondering if we just chatted a little.
