The new danger in the land

Tua: I just.....can't help but think.....maybe our love isn't supposed to be. Last night.....I had a dream. There was this white lion. You were mad at me. And................you were carrying his cubs........

Marini raised an eyebrow. "A white lion?" She remembered hearing from her mother that there was a very small number of lions out there who matched that description. Even if there really where, she's never met one. "I've never seen a white lion in my entire life."

Tua: Every day I love you more! And every day.....I get more worried about losing you somehow. You're the only girl I have ever loved. And you're the only family I've had my whole life. I can't live without you...
A single tear came from his eye and rolled onto his muzzle

Marini wiped the tear off Tua's muzzle with her paw. "Well there's no reason for you to lose me, is there?" she asked with a chuckle, gently embracing him in a hug.

Tua: No.....I'm just scared. I know I have the pride.....but you are the only thing I truly have!

"I don't think that's true." said Marini with a smile. "The Pride also counts. So does Simba, you two are like brothers."

[Adofo]

Tua: Yeah.....but I can't love Simba the way I love you!

Marini giggled. "Technically, you can." she said, remembering her uncle all of a sudden. "You just, well... Don't." She licked his muzzle. "And good thing, too, because I would have been jealous." The young lioness once again giggled at her own joke.

Tua smiled
Tua: Marini.....can you tell me why you said "yes" when i asked you to marry me?

Marini tilted her head to the side slightly, obviously confused by the question. "Because I love you." she said, chuckling.
