[Sure. Angus can join in the punch fest. c:<]
"Leave her be!" Chaltuu snarled, thrusting her muzzle at her father's. That was a gesture of dominance and aggression.
"Oh, shut up, would you?" Kivuli roared. "You were never useful, Chaltuu. Instead of actually trying to prove your non-existent worth, you just sat around all day feeling sorry for yourself!"
Chaltuu grew infuriated. That was not true and her father knew that! She tried so many times as a cub to impress her father, and she once even fell out of a tree and broke her limb trying to get him to notice her. It wasn't like she had been expected praise or something- he had never given that to her and she wouldn't hope for things that would never cub. Then again, Kivuli had only scolded her for "showing off" and left her to the medics' treatment.
Kapuki cried out as Kivuli swiped his claws across her muzzle and then rammed into Chaltuu's side, slamming her against a nearby boulder. Kapuki was bleeding from her snout, but she knew Chaltuu was going through worse. He had cuffed her and struck her, and now Chaltuu's breath was smacked out of her as her body came into full impact with the large rock. Anger flooded the young lioness' mind and she lunged at her father, defensively shoving him away from Chaltuu.
"Back off!" Kapuki yowled, slashing at her father's nose.
