Togo's Day Out by Ninaroja written circa. 2007 (unedited except for line spacing)
Togo the tiger cub stuck his head out of the cave. He looked around, sniffed the air, and confidently trotted out into the open. Today was his first day out alone, and he wanted to make the best impression he could on his family and neighbours.
As he padded along the jungle floor, he stopped at a nearby pool to take a drink, he noticed that Jasi the jaguar was there too.
"Hey Togo!" she said, "how's things?"
"They're fine," Togo answered, "it's my first time out on my own, and I want to make the most of it."
Jasi's green eyes gleamed at him,
"well be careful! There are monkeys in the trees near the waterfall being a nuisance, and they were throwing fruit at me!"
She turned around, revealing dried up, purple fruit all over her back.
"Don't worry about me!" Togo growled, "I'll scare them off!"
He left Jasi at the river, and kept going. He had not walked for long when he heard the cheeky chattering of monkeys.
"Stupid monkeys," Togo muttered "always getting on everybody's nerves."
Just then, something hard hit him on the head.
"Ouch!" shrieked Togo. He looked at the object that had hit him. It was a coconut. Puzzled, Togo looked up, then he saw Pop, Pap and Pip. The most annoying monkeys in the jungle.
"Hello Pogo Stick!" (their favourite nickname for him) they chanted in unison.
"Ugh! Shut up!" he yelled.
"Where do you keep your brain?" asked Pop.
"Yeah, the sound your head maked when we hit it with that coconut was pretty hollow!" said Pap.
"Maybe he doesn't have one at all!" laughed Pip.
The monkeys burst into peels of laughter.
"RIGHT!" bellowed Togo.
He jumped at the tree they were sitting in, and tried to climb up it. But the monkeys were well prepared, and they bombarded Togo with coconuts! One hit him on the head, making him lose his grip. Togo fell out of the tree and, although he landed on his feet, he landed in a huge patch of mud. The mud flew up with the impact and showered down ontop of him!
The monkeys exploded with laughter and swang away through the trees.
Togo, as he tramped home, met up with Jasi.
"Hi Togo," she said, "boy! What happened to you?"
Togo explained everything about the monkeys
"Aha! I have a plan..." said Jasi.
Togo and Jasi spent ages digging a huge hole, and then they covered it with sticks and leaves.
"I'll leave these loverly bananas here then!" shouted Jasi, hoping the monkeys would hear. They hid in a bush, and sure enough, Pip, Pop and Pap came hurrying along.
"Look at these bananas!" said Pip.
"They look lovely!" said Pop.
"Let's get them!" yelled Pop.
But as they crossed the pit to get to the bananas, they went crashing down into the pit! Jasi and Togo jumped out, laughing their heads off. The monkeys chattered angrily from the bottom of the pit, but Togo and Jasi were laughing to loudly to hear them!

Thrilling saga indeed. I do remember we had to write a story in English when I was in first year cause my teacher was going to be away the next class and we needed something to do. I must have been about 11 when I wrote thisAhhhh nostalgia
Brilliant. 10/10. Astounding literary merit, would recommend. xDDD
