A Private RP for Labatis

"Yeah, same here," Chaltuu responded. "But... Why would you come and help me if I went back?" To her, it made no sense. Angus risking his life so she could attempt to see her sister who might not even remember her? That was ridiculous. They had known each other for less than... a week or something. Whether they had known each other for a few minutes to a few years, it was senseless to try to help her. Kivuli not only would kill Chaltuu, but anyone assisting her.

[Labatis]

"Well, I obviously have nothing better to do, and even if we hardly know each other, you think I will honestly not feel at all bad that you were killed?" Angus knew that it was just foolishness to die for someone he just met. But what else was he supposed to do? Watch her go back, only to be killed? At least Chaltuu gave him something to do. Plus, there was literally nothing else to do. The past weeks he's been traveling only to be chased out, and to be scarred both physically and emotionally. He needed some action.

[Iri]

[Yas Angus we need action]

"Huh, never heard that before," Chaltuu remarked. Her voice held no traces of self-sorrow. She flicked her ear. "Well, if you're serious, I know where his territory is." She felt a little bad that Angus was risking getting mortally wounded or even killed just so she could see her sister- or if her father and mother had conceived more cubs, siblings. She'd only let him go if he was sure he wished to help her. If he wasn't, he could just wait while she left. But she had to admit, though she'd never say it aloud, it was frightening to face her father after she hadn't seen him for months.

[Labatis]

[Ooh, Chaltuu is actually scared of something! *gasping noises*]

"Alright, lead the way." He wasn't sure why he was doing this, he must've been desperate for entertainment to do such a thing. He was a bit frightened, knowing they would probably have to fight one huge entire pride. Who knows? Maybe they could make it out alive, and allow Chaltuu to see her sister once again. Yes, the chances of getting what they wanted was extremely low, but it was something to hope for.

[Angus is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too desperate for action.]

[-Gasps with you-]

Chaltuu rose to her paws and padded towards the East. That was the direction her former pride was in. The mud squished a little under her paws as rain continued to patter down with strange little tapping noises on the stones and ground. "My father is not friendly. Then again, I'm guessing you put two and two together and realized that," she said. She headed on, still curious why he was doing this. Did he want to fight? Fighting her father usually resulted in someone getting seriously hurt, and it was nearly never Kivuli.

"We all have our enemies. But, with what you've been saying, yes, he is not the kindest king." Angus followed behind her, not really expecting the pride to catch their scent, since of course, the rain was washing off everything's smell. He decided to prepare to attack, though, because due to Chaltuu's expressions, they were obviously going to be outnumbered.

[Iri]

"My pride is surprisingly not far," Chaltuu said to Angus. "Only... maybe one and a half mile? Not sure. But no more than that." She knew they might have to rest, but she wasn't in some huge rush. They could wait, it wasn't a huge deal. And they'd have to keep downwind- wait, scratch that. The rain was already concealing their scents, so staying downwind would not be some huge concern to them. She felt grateful to the rain for hiding their scents and making sure that Kivuli didn't know ahead of time that two strangers- or one stranger- was approaching.

[Labatis]

"How many are there?" He asked, squinting his eyes hoping to see them somewhere, even though it was impossible to see them that far with rain pouring, and the sky clouded. Perhaps when they were most comfortable where they were, they could rest to restore the little energy they loss. He was fine with laying down for a bit if desired, just as long as they weren't noticed by any of the members. The last thing he needed was the rain to stop in their sleep, allowing the closest lion to them probably catch a faint scent of them.

"Quite a few, actually. But there's this lioness, Naima, and I suggest right now you eliminate her from your list of threats. She was extremely spoiled and was never trained to fight, so don't be scared if a lioness with golden fur, one blue eye, and one green eye comes running at you with her claws, she doesn't know how to use them," Chaltuu said, rolling her eyes. Naima was a pretty lioness, but she had been so fawned over in her cub and adolescent years that she was extremely lazy and never really practiced battle moves.

"What a.. sweet gal." His nose wrinkled, disgusted. A spoiled little brat, surely that is no threat. Good thing he didn't have to fight that. By the sound of it, she probably has had a lot of cubs, due to her being 'so pretty' to the males. "Any specific lionesses or lions that are right by the border?"
