Chaltuu still remained asleep. Her dreams had drifted away like careless clouds, but she was still dozing. Her paws still tucked under her chin and her tail curled around her hindquarters, she squirmed a little, as if trying to shake off dirt and dust that clung to her pelt. Her ears flicked and her paws twitched a little.
Slowly she awoke, irritated at the rising light. Hmph. Stupid dawn. She flicked her tail and stretched, yawning. She looked around- where was Angus? She glanced towards the small waterhole, and saw him there. Early riser, like her, she assumed.

And I like to write stuff like that. xD]

[On making it really sad? Yes. You do that to me a lot. *looks at bucket full of rping tears*]

He noticed her wake up from the corner of his eye, and he looked over his shoulder, giving a short 'Good Morning'. The he resumed looking at the sky, watching the night get erased from the bright daylight. He could still picture his brother sitting behind him, but once the sun's rays rid of the night sky, it also rid of the feeling of having his brother near him. Sometimes he wasn't sure if he was forgiven, and that every time he thought Perdut was next to him, it was only a memory.

[If you still miss Perdut being long gone, I put him in a pot over there. *points to a random spot wherever you are*]

Chaltuu wondered why he was staring off. Thinking, she presumed. She did that a lot. She flicked her tail, before turning and washing the tangled tuft of her tail. Her dark-toed back paws scuffed and kicked behind her a little, and her claws tapped the ground. She felt bored, but at least not hungry or tired. What would she do today? Talk? That seemed to be all she did for a while, just sit and chat with anyone. Mostly Angus, over the past days.

Once the darkened night sky completely vanished, Angus looked back over to Chaltuu. "So.. um.. anything on your mind?" He awkwardly spoke, hoping he didn't seem rude. He trotted back to the bush he was laying at, which was vertical from where Chaltuu was laying. She didn't seem like she had the calmest dream either, but Angus couldn't expect her to have a good night's rest, especially since they had fought other lions yesterday, and that probably brought her some memories.

[Since there was nothing much to say outside the rp, here is a random smilie who isn't used that often. (I think..)]

Seriously, it isn't.]

"No, not really," Chaltuu said. "Except my sister." Who might not be alive, she thought, rather bitterly.
She didn't really like how Kivuli had treated Kapuki the last time she had seen both of them. Kivuli had growled and cuffed Kapuki over the head after Kapuki had failed to catch a rabbit. The cub had tripped and staggered clumsily, scaring off the lagomorph and prompting Kivuli to scold and punish her.

"Sister? I didn't know you had a sister." Angus was curious, wondering what happened with her and her sister. After all, Angus had 'slept with his brother', in other words having a night full of memories with him. Maybe they could relate to another thing, but he doubted Chaltuu would have killed her own relative. Or at least a relative she thinks about. Though he would be perfectly fine if she didn't wish to speak about it. Certain things are more personal to some than others.

"Yeah, I did," Chaltuu said. "I last saw her when I was... Hmm... Maybe two and a half." She stretched a little. She actually couldn't really remember how old she was when she was exiled. She sometimes thought she was three, sometimes thought that she was two, sometimes presumed that she was two and a half. After her shock over being banished from her home had faded, she had forgotten a lot of things. It was strange, really, and she wanted to find out some of the things she had lost from her memory.

"If you don't mind answering, would you ever go back? To get revenge, or too see the ones you still love?" Angus took a shot at asking this, seeing there was not much conversation starters at the moment. His right shoulder was a bit sore from the fight, but he was sure it would wear off sooner or later.

[Short posts are okay as long as it isn't like: '"So do you want to go back?" said Angus.' xD]

"No," Chaltuu said. "Since I was exiled, 'I am to be killed on sight' if I'm seen over the wrong side of the border. And for revenge... No. Kivuli's pride is enormous. I wouldn't stand a chance." At first, that had been a rather difficult thing for Chaltuu to swallow; being weaker than her opponent. It had always bothered her. It made her feel vulnerable to anything.

"It's still stupid, that you'd be exiled just because of your appearance." Angus grunted, his claws flexing. Out of all the foolishness in the world, exiling someone because of their pelt color was the worst. Why waste a strong heart on color? She might as well stained her pelt in mud, and show how well she could've been. Even though it appeared that both their fathers were jerks, it was obvious Chaltuu's was more horrid. Angus' father, even though Angus would never forgive him, was only attacking him for the well being of his pride. Not to mention the pain he must've felt losing one of his sons so suddenly.
