The new danger in the land

Tua: From the day you were born, I always knew you were an angel! It wasn't until recently that I found out.....I'm in love with you!

Still smiling, Marini gave Tua an affectionate lick across his muzzle and once again nuzzled him.

Tua held her close as they drifted through the calm waters

Purring in contentment, Marini allowed Tua to hold her. She felt herself become sleepy because of the warmth of his fur and because of the calm current of the river. She didn't feel like forcing herself to stay awake.

Tua too slowly drifted off. The next morning, they washed up on the little island with their hammock.
Tua: You awake yet?

Marini mumbled something sleepily, sounding anything but fully awake.

Tua licked her across her muzzle

Opening her eyes ever so slightly, Marini smiled when she saw Tua. "Hey..." she said quietly as she rubbed her muzzle against his own, purring.

(Also, just pointing it out, lions can't purr. they make a similar sound but its not a purr. Honestly i din't know that for a long time!)

Tua: Hey! Look where we ended up!

(I'm going to call it a purr)

Looking around, Mariji was quite surprised to say the least. However, she then looked back at Tua, smiling fonly at him and nuzzling him once more. It appeared like the young lioness was more focused on the male rather than on their surroundings.
