The new danger in the land

"Rafiki said you were poisoned." said the king, a slight frown on his face. "What happened?"

[Adofo]

Tua: Well.....I ate a zebra leg that was just sitting under a tree.

[TheWhistlerify]

Simba looked confused. "A zebra leg that was just sitting there?" Talk about odd...

[Adofo]

Tua: Yeah....hey can you please go find Marini? I really want to talk to her.

[TheWhistlerify]

Simba nodded with a heavy sigh, getting up and beginning to search for the young lioness. It could take forever since the Pride Lands were so big. He did find her, eventually, on her way back to Pride Rock and deep in her own thoughts. "Marini?" he walked up to her, causing her to let out a soft gasp of surprise.

"Oh, Simba, it's you..."

"Yeah, I-" he paused, looking confused. "What's that scent?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"You smell... different." said the king.

"No I don't." replied the young lioness defensively.

"Well... Tua asked me to find you..." he said, causing her to sigh as she resumed walking back to Pride Rock with him following closely behind.

[Adofo]

Tua: Marini! Great you found her! I haven't seen you since yesterday! ....I hope what I said didn't offend you.

Marini forced a smile. "No, you talking as if we were a married coupled didn't bother me at all." Well, that was what she thought, but she didn't say it. Instead she said, "It's fine."

[Adofo]

Tua: I'm really sorry I scared you. If you don't mind could you just......lay with me? If you want to that is! I just....being around you helps me deal with the pain.

Letting out another sigh, Marini lay down where she was, a short distance away from Tua.

[Adofo]

Tua: I'm sorry about the I love you thing yesterday.....that was inappropriate. But....I was so scared I'd never get another chance. .......what's that smeel? What happened?
