The new danger in the land

Looking at Tua in surprise for a few seconds, the young lioness shook her head again. "Thanks, but it's yours." The last thing she needed was to have him try to make it up to her now.

Tua: You sure? Well....okay.

[TheWhistlerify]

Looking around at Tua over her shoulder as she slowly walked away, Marini nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure."

[Adofo]

Tua went back to the den to take a nap.

Marini only returned to the den in the middle of the night. She carefully made her way over to her sleeping spot, doing her best not to wake anybody up.

Tua awoke early in the morning. He was out patrolling and he found a zebra leg leaning up against a tree. Just a leg. No mess or bones or anything.
Tua: Hey! Anyone leave a leg here?
No on answered so he started eating it. In about a minute it was just a bone and hoof. He started walking back to Priderock. After the long walk he was getting close to home but suddenly he wasn't feeling well. He was walking funny. His tail was dragging behind him. His head was hanging low and his jaw was hanging open. As he got closer Marini was on her way out to hunt and she was gonna walk past her to get home.

Marini was about to head out to hunt when she saw Tua and was obviously confused with the way he was walking. "Tua?" she asked. "What's wrong?"

[Adofo]

Tua: No-.....nothing....I'm f-....fine....
Suddenly he feel to the ground with a thud. Out cold.

Gasping in shock, Marini quickly turned around and ran back into the den. She soon returned with Simba by her side, and after a short inspection the king came to a decision. "Let's take him to Rafiki." With Marini's help, he placed his unconscious friend on his back and they began making their way to the mandrill's tree.

Tua was having trouble breathing. Every breath he took was very noisy and hoarse.
