Angus narrowed his eyes, but decided there wouldn't be any harm in hunting with them. "Alright. But what about that pride over there? Since you technically are hated there, shouldn't you be more careful around this area?" Having her in danger would probably not be good for her or Angus.

Rolling her eyes, Kamaria said, "I'll be fine, besides, I have friends there who will protect me if anyone thinks of hurting me." 'I just hope they are still there,' she thought as she turned and stared walking toward her home of long ago.

Nice to know she has someone to turn to. Angus followed Kamaria, observing the area. It was a rather big territory, surely there will be a nice herd of something to chase down. "So, Kamaria, why do you want to fight your father?" He was curious of why, because Angus himself was no longer 'friends' with his father. After all, what Angus did was unforgiving. I know it's not my business to know, but perhaps we have something similar in common.

Taking a deep breath, Kamaria started telling Angus by saying, "Well, we never really got along, because I wanted to be free and everything and he wants me to be emotionless and stuff, like him, and then when I disobeyed him, he would either beat me...or my mother. There was one time that as he was beating Mom I jumped up and bit his ear. So when you see him, and see the scar on his right ear, that's where I tore a bit of his ear off."

"I see." Angus had gotten along with his parents fine, same with his brother. As heir to the pride, he took it as an advantage, often attacking anyone who got on his nerves. Angus hated this thought beginning to go in his head again, because it would lead to what scared him most. He continued walking, shaking his head time to time to think of something different. "So, you attacked your father for being abusive to you and your family?"

Kamaria nodded, remembering everything that he did. "Well, what was I supposed to do, sit there and do nothing? I had to do something. For some reason, he never beaten my sister Mais. I guess she was his favorite or something."

"I know how you feel." Angus muttered before slowing down his pace. Sometime during their little 'chat', he must've sped up and gotten ahead of her. So she is a former heir, like I was. Good to know there is something to relate to.

Looking at Angus, Kamaria asked, "Really? Did something bad happen with your family," she was surprised about this reveal. "How come you're not with your pride?"

Angus' ears perked, and he looked directly at her. "Well, yes. My father nearly killed me for my.. wrong doings, and I lost my younger brother." He was terrified about telling Kamaria why he lost his brother, because it might frighten her. Though if she asked, it might be better to answer, but not be too specific about it.

Eyes widening, Kamaria asked quietly, "What happened to him? Your brother, I mean" If he doesn't want to tell me that's fine. she thought to herself as she waited for his answer.
