The new danger in the land

Tua: .....what does your heart say?

"I don't know..." said Marini with a sigh. "I had a really wonderful time when we first came here, and..." she looked at him a little timidly. "And I've been thinking about you..."

Tua put his paw on her cheek.
Tua: .......Marini.........will you marry me?

Marini froze completely, staring at the lion in front of her in shock. "M-marry?" she eventually stuttered, unable to say anytthng else. Where in the world did that come from?

[Adofo]

Tua: You are the thing that keeps me going! The fire in my heart! The shine of my soul! Will you make me the happiest guy alive!? Will you marry me?

"Tua, I don't know what to say..." Marini sighed. "This is the 2nd date I've ever been to in my entire life, I don't even know what I'm doing or if I should even be here or not! I... How can you just throw something like that at me like this? You can't expect me to marry someone I only started seeing yesterday!

[Adofo]

Tua looked heartbroken.
Tua: I.....I......I.........I'm sorry.
He climbed out of the hammock and walked away into the forest without another word.

Marini silently watched Tua walk off, letting out a sigh one he was gone. This was just way too soon. She was still struggling to accept the idea of dating the lion, how was she supposed to make such a huge commitment so early on? Getting off the hammock, since it would be far less cold to lie on the grass, she took the blanket and covered herself with it to make herself cozier.

Tua just kept walking through the jungle. He spent about an hour walking in a straight path before he finally stopped and laid down where he stood. He knew he was no longer inside he boundaries of The Pridelands but he didn't care. He was too heartbroken. All he thought was how stupid he was asking her to marry him this soon. And how he is accepting that he'll die alone with no one to love. Slowly he fell asleep.

Marini would have gone back to Priderock hadn't the sun already set, but it was already dark. It took her a very long time because of how confused and uneasy she felt, but she eventually fell asleep as well. Unknown to both her and Tua, they were both being watched
