Ayari growled slightly baring his teeth at the small old mongoose. "How do you know my name, and history?" Ayari growled viciously. The mongoose seemed like he was not at all afraid of the violent lion before him. He merely chuckled and poked Ayari's nose.
"I know you, but you don't know me little Ayari. I know what became of your parents. I know how long you cried. I know how long you gave up crying and began moving out on your own through the harsh lands looking for someone to accept you. Now here you are, in a land much harsher then any other in your travels." The mongoose said boldly, as he stared at Ayari. Ayari glared at the mongoose and chuckled darkly.
"You know, it isn't smart to just talk about me like you know me. I don't like that and if you don't get out of my sight right now I'll rip your tongue out." Ayari warned. The mongoose laughed.
"I see. Well, I guess I have the wrong lion don't I? The Ayari I knew was not so violent and ruthless. Your parents must be sobbing up in the stars at what their son has become. Better to be a mindless member of a pride, then a rogue that thinks for himself right?" The mongoose said with a grin as he began to step away from Ayari.
"Get lost!" Ayari snapped through grit teeth. The mongoose did as he was told without taking a look back at Ayari.
"Should've killed him as soon as he made me stumble..." Ayari growled. Those words stung him worse then any injury he recieved in the outlands.
