Adofo: Awww! Okaaaaay! Race ya!
Adofo leaped up and ran off

[Iri]

Hondo jumped up after him, but his legs weren't as fast as Adofo's. "Dang!" he said as he watched his father reach the waterhole first.

[Adofo]

Adofo threw off his hoodie and cannonballed in.
Adofo: I WIN!

[Iri]

Hondo laughed, leaping in the waterhole and spitting water at his father's face.

[Adofo]

Adofo: You know son.....I really missed you when you were gone. I felt like......you didn't love me anymore. I know everyone said you were like that to everyone but......I only made things worse.

[Iri]

"I did love you," Hondo said. "Listen," he said sternly, "It's not because I don't love you, or I didn't love Yekize, or Chiku, or Iri, or bleh. It's because most male lions have an instinct to move around. Your sons obviously are happy here, but I wasn't. But in my new territory, I realized that I missed you more than you can imagine."

[Adofo]

Adofo: I missed you so much. I was so worried I lost my son forever.

[Iri]

"You didn't," Hondo said firmly. "And I'm sorry for leaving. But, it's just, I was growing up and I was restless and anxious."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Come here, boy!
He held out his arms

[Iri]

Hondo nuzzled his father. "I won't leave Pride Rock ever again," he promised. "Besides, I often had irksome hyena problems."
