"You felt second best?" Hondo asked. "You felt like you weren't good enough?"

Adofo: Yes. I felt like I could never match up to the true King of the Pridelands. And......I was afraid I'd let my little brother down. But you know what? I could! I tried my best and my hardest and I became the Vice King I am today! Son.....I thought the same way you did all those years ago. But I know you've got it in you! Don't you ever doubt that!

"You've got it in you," Hondo said. He rested his head on his father's shoulder gently. "You tried your best, and you are the best. The best Vice King ever, the best mate to Mom, the best father to all of your cubs... The best being in the world that ever lived!"
