Warrior Cats Roleplay with Zoketi [Private]

[Oh well. Mine is dying too.]

Tawnystar flicked her tail. "Say a warrior were to lunge at me," she meowed. She did a sort of "backwards somersault" and then reared forward, slashing at the air with her forepaws. "So I'll take a leap at you and do what I did." She flicked her tail, watching Littlepaw. Her eyes were narrowed as if the two were locked in battle, and her teeth bared in a mock snarl.

[By the way, will Shrewpaw/Insert warrior name here/whatever and Hawkkit/Hawkflight/whatever have kits of their own?]

[Zoketi]

[;n; Sigh.
Oh, sure, if you want. ]

Littlepaw watched, her eyes growing wide for a moment. "Alright," she breathed, nodding and shifting her forepaws. It looked a little complicated, but she was sure she could get it down eventually. She spread her paws and twitched an ear as she waited for her mentor to advance.

[-Sob-]

Tawnystar hurled herself at her apprentice, her claws carefully retracted and a false battle cry escaping her throat. "Mrrrrrooooowww!" she yowled, as if lunging at an opponent from a rival Clan. Her tail lashed as she anticipated Littlepaw's reaction, hoping that her apprentice would try to do what she had just demonstrated herself.

[ D: why? ]

The white apprentice blinked, then scooted back instinctively, trying to manage a backwards roll and return to her paws in time to fend of her leader's swiping forepaws. She was able to rear up and swat back at Tawnystar, though she'd more just backed up rather than actually somersaulting.

[Mah muse is running away]

"For a first try that was good," the tawny-pelted WindClan leader meowed. She hadn't expected her apprentice to be able to completely master that move on her first try, anyway. Tawnystar flattened her fur and smiled at Littlepaw. "I think we'll practice a few more times, then we'll go back to camp." She flicked her tail, swatting away irksome flies and bothersome gnats.

[Shall we just timeskip where they go back to camp, since honestly it'll just be repetitive?]

[oh. And yeah sure. xD I'll just go do that.]

After a successful training session--or, successful in Littlepaw's opinion, though her mentor seemed quite pleased, the two cats headed back to camp. Softcloud and Beetlepaw had left earlier, as they'd been there longer, so when Littlepaw trotted into camp she spotted the familiar grey and white pelt and spindly shape of her good friend. The young she-cat flicked up her tail in pleasure, waving it at him, then headed towards medicine cats' den to find her sister. She paused outside, then poked her head in cautiously, inhaling the familiar sweet scent of herbs. Bluestrike was just visible in the back, muttering under his breath and fiddling with some leaves, but Littlepaw couldn't immediately find her sister's white fur.

Beetlepaw smiled and waved back, then sighed contently and plopped down on a short stone. [Liek, best paragraph ever.]
Lilypaw was fumbling with poppy seeds, narrowing her eyes them and poking them back into place. She, for some reason, had wanted to study them to see if she could find a difference between them and foxglove. She was sitting in one little corner, the shade that cast upon her pelt turning her normally snow-white fur a dark grey-ish color. "Hello," she mewed softly, hearing her sister's pawsteps.

Littlepaw found her sister after a moment, and heard the soft voice that rose from her little corner. "Hi!" she greeted cheerily, approaching the medicine cat apprentice. "How's your day going?" she queried, plopping down next to her, careful not to flick her tail close to the herbs or anything and mess them up. She blinked her deep blue gaze at Lilypaw.

"Pretty well," Lilypaw mewed, nudging the poppy back on its correct ledge. "How's yours?" She wondered what made her sister this excited. Perhaps Littlepaw had just caught her first rabbit? She sniffed a little at the catmint. She wondered what made catmint smell good. From amusing little stories Lilypaw had heard, kits certainly got into trouble breaking into the medicine den and robbing catmint leaves occasionally, which often earned the little "catmint thieves" a scolding.

[Doesn't really happen in the books that often, but like I said, we're not roleplaying rainbow cats with five-inch metal claws and sunglasses. xD]

Littlepaw straightened, her eyes flicking over the herb stores beside them curiously. "Great! Tawnystar and I did some more battle training." she chirped, staring at a clump of yellow flowers before glancing back to her littermate and smiling broadly. She wrapped her tail around her paws and rumbled with contentment. "Yeah, so I'm pretty happy with that." She shifted a little awkwardly, twitching an ear.
