He leans over and kisses her tummy

Yekize smiled.
The next morning, Yekize solemnly trudged over to Hondo's territory, where Hondo was silently weeping onto his mate's shoulder. Yuna was comforting him. Baie's body was laid out peacefully, as if she was asleep.
"You're burying her, right?" Yekize murmured.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Yes. Hondo...you and Yuna want to say a few words?

[Iri]

Hondo nodded, choking back tears. "Baie," he said, "I love you. You were an amazing daughter. Sweet, kind, trusting... And I am heartbroken you had to go. I want you to know that Yuna and I tried our best to save you. I will always remember the stories I told you, the games of tag we played, the conversations we shared about true love. I'm so sorry you never got to grow and live your life, never got to find a mate, never got to have cubs of your own."
Yuna went up next. "I miss you, Baie. I only wish you had some more time. I only wish I could cuddle next to you one more time, I wish I could hold you for just one minute." After that her voice broke and she refused to go on. The tears in her eyes said everything.

[Don't have Adofo bury Baie just YET. Chien will come into the picture.]

[Adofo]

Adofo: That was beautiful. Anyone else?

[Iri]

Chien stepped up. Her fur was smoothed and her eyes were brimming with tears. "I have something to say."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Go ahead sweetie!

[Iri]

Chien sighed. "Baie, I miss you," she said, tilting her head to look towards the skies. "You know when lions say 'Eh, living things die every day'? Well, you were never a living thing to me. You were my sister. You were the one to comfort me when I was sad, the one to turn my stormy mood sunny and bright, and Baie, you were the one, no matter how grumpy I was, to do something so silly that I couldn't stay grouchy. I miss you, and I wanted to grow up with you. I wanted to go on my first hunt with you. And I just wish you had more time to live."

[Adofo]

Adofo gently wipes her tears away.
Adofo: That was very sweet.

[Iri]

Chien sighed. "And," she continued, "She taught me how to trust."
