Adofo broke a tip from one of his arrows and carved around all his other scars to make a heart on his palm.
Adofo: This one...will always be extra special to me... You want yours the same way or just the regular cut?

(Go with the heart)

[Hm. Okay.]

Hondo smiled. "Same way." He held out his paw. The scars crossing his muzzle and the left side of his face seemed unnoticeable now.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Okay.....its gonna hurt!
Adofo carefully did the same design with his paw.
Adofo: Okay...all set! You ready, son?

[Iri]

"I was born ready," Hondo said, smiling as a nostalgic memory came back on his first hunt with Adofo, when he said the exact same thing.

[Adofo]

Adofo: That's my boy!
He held out his bleeding hand for Hondo.

[Iri]

[Not too much blood.]

Hondo pressed his own paw against Adofo's hand and smiled. After a pause, he pulled his paw from his father's hand, he carefully washed Adofo's hand and his own paw, then wrapped Adofo's hand in a clean rush leaf. "Just so there isn't too much blood loss," Hondo said. He winked mischievously at his father. "I learned it from the best."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hehehe.....you promise to always be daddy's little boy?

[Iri]

Hondo pretended to ponder. "Let's see... well, of course!"

[Adofo]

Adofo smiled.
Adofo: Hey...I know its stupid just to say this but I just want you to know...you're welcome to move back home anytime. You and your whole pride! Just wanted you to know! *kiss* Night son!

[Iri]

[Actually, can Hondo move back? xDD]

"Remember to come tomorrow at dawn," Hondo said. "For... Baie's burial." He bumped Adofo's shoulder playfully before walking off.
