"Oh, of course," Hondo said. "She loves gazelle, as you know. And when she's pregnant, since her back hurts a lot, sometimes she likes to be massaged in her back. Since Iri's from a different litter other than mine, when she was expecting Iri, she asked me to massage her back a lot. Hmm..." He pondered for a minute. "She likes to swim, and she absolutely loves to point out star constellations of Ancient Animal Warriors. When I was a cub, she loved to tell me how rabbits, turtles, birds, lions, and all animals used to have their own territories." He felt nostalgic from the memories he shared with his mother.

Adofo: It made me think.....about why you left Priderock. It was me. I drove you away. I took your mother from you. I neglected you. And annoyed you with my stupid emotions and feelings. I know you love me...but you would never call me the world greatest dad. I think you'd list me at the top of the worst dads list.....and I don't blame you.

Hondo bristled. "Stop saying that!" he said. "You always say that and I hate it! Do you know how much that hurts me? Contrary to what everyone thinks, I have feelings too!"

Adofo: I know. And thats exactly one of the things that drove you away. My sadness.......all i ever wanted was to be with my boy.....but instead.....I drove him away. You were my new son...all i wanted to do was spend time with you but...things kept happening to the point that I got so down in the dumps...you couldn't stand living under my rule anymore.

Hondo nuzzled his father. "Stop that," he said sternly. "You said yourself you realized that it wasn't your fault and now you're going back to that 'theory' again. Stop it. I'm sorry, but I hate hearing that. And if... if I keep hearing that, I'm going to stop visiting. I'm sorry, but I'm really done with hearing the 'I drove you away, I'm a bad father' rubbish."

Adofo: Wow...i'm still doing it...even now. Im sorry so-......Hondo.......I don't deserve to call you my son.
