I'd try that, Rin. :3 I've never done commishes before but I saw your advice to mamaprince on the FAA and it rings true - dA is a huge site and it takes forever to make a name for yourself there amidst the 10 million or so other members. I haven't done anything on there in ages because it was disheartening posting pieces and getting no feedback.

TBH, you're probably best off going to a smaller site, perhaps FB. Find a niche. Don't try this FAA though, since like you said, most of the people there are pretty young so that might not be a good option.

That said, however, have you tried TLKFAA (the other fan-art site for TLK)? It's a lot bigger and has more variety. Maybe you'll get more luck there. :3

But yeah, I made a twist like that once. "Zera taks Kiras paw at teh end of TLKII" ended up being a story about how they both died and Kovu took vengeance on Simba afterwards. xD Don't think I did too well with that one, but it was worth a shot. :3

I wrote on the same prompt that time. I think that's one of the times I actually won, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, it should be very apparent what I crossed it over with whenever the topic is posted (shouldn't that be soon by now?)

TLKFAA is kinda annoying to me... I once was there, but I quit easily because I don't like the interface much, nor I don't see myself being on TLKFAA at all due to not being interested in feline art anymore... Mostly draw off-topic things. I am however gonna try and be on FurAffinity, it's said to be a fine place to have people notice you. Despite there is THAT part of the site, but you can switch it off which doesn't bother me.

DevART is okay if you post in A LOT of groups of your artwork. I've been there for 4 years and still kinda do enjoy it there. I've also tried Weasyl.... where I abandoned a newly made account, lol... I can't manage so much stuff D8 but I think I'm gonna bring those back alive though. I just need someone to hit me with a brick.
