Adofo turned up towards his daughter.

[Iri]

[Mkay.]

Chiku cleared her throat. "I do not have a close relationship with either of my parents. I will not lie and say that I am extremely attached to them both. But just because I'm not attached like sap to them, does that mean I don't love them? No, it doesn't. My mother and I never really spent time together, nor do we do that now, and I am to blame for that- I tend to be a more independent lioness and I don't wish to spend time with anyone. And I will admit I do occasionally scuffle with my mother. And my father and I sometimes have our moments of arguing, but we also have our brief moments of father and daughter affection. I will not remember the bad moments I share with both my mother and my father. I will only remember the positive ones."

[Adofo]

Adofo: Love you, baby!

[Iri]

Chiku nodded to both her parents and stayed back.
Ua shyly stumbled up, her ears flattened nervously and an embarrassed wince plastered on her face. She wanted to give a speech to both her parents but felt very nervous.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Its okay, Ua! Say what you want to!

[Iri]

Ua coughed in an attempt to clear her throat. "Both my parents are wonderful," she said shyly. "Both of them. If someone asked me which parent I was more attached to, I would take that as a cruel joke. I love both. They adopted me when I was dying. My parents gave me what I needed to grow: nourishment, education, and love." She quickly scampered down.

[Adofo]

Adofo: Hey!
He looked at his daughter and had his arms wide open for her.

[Iri]

Ua looked up at him and slowly stepped forward, then hopped into his arms and nuzzled his shoulder.

[Adofo]

Adofo: We love you, baby!

[Iri]

Ua nuzzled her father, then her mother, and sat by Hondo.
