My Uni next year is more than 2 miles from where I'll be living - I guess I'm going to miss school being a 2 minute walk from my house
(Luckily Southampton seems to have the most efficient Public Transport system in the entire universe (the complete opposite of here ) And the bus stop is right outside the accomodation block so it shouldn't be too bad)

And I am indeed very excited. It'll be hard to get adjusted from my usual stuff like my own room/bathroom, less space, sharing a kitchen with 10+ people, having to cook all my own meals, my Dad waking me up in the mornings etc. but it'll also be better because:

1.Increased independence e.g. in control of my own money to an extent
2. Mutual teacher/student respect
3. Less petty clique drama (virtually every person I've asked says that Uni is nothing like school in this respect)
4. I'm actually doing subjects I like this year
5. In a couple of years I'll be moving to Spain/South America for a year to study
6. Meeting new people
7. Experiencing a new city
8. My life is actually going to start now

fghjknbbnbj I'm so excited why can't I be going like next week or something
