As for the 'new' character, well... I don't think I can add a page for him since he's neither African nor feline. But he's essentially my very first fursona and, perhaps, my first real, serious fiction character. He's been through a lot of changes over the years, but he's still very special to me, hence his inclusion in the pic. I figured I'd do something a little different and include a horse since I draw them quite a bit. Hopefully it's not too OT if I include him here and there.

"I know, I know, I'll probably get killed. My brother warned me before I left, and I should've listened more, but... he wasn't protecting me like I thought, he was just hurting me. I had to run away. Please let me go."
"... Alright... Where's your mother?"
"Um... I don't have one..."
"Oh, I... I'm sorry. I know how that feels. But are you all alone?"
"Uh-huh."
"No family or friends?"
"No."
"Alright, then... listen... I could help you. I know a place you could hide for a few days - that way you'll be safe from the lionesses."
"Oh, I couldn't, I'm sorry. I'm scared of lions, I already encountered one and she nearly ate me, I really shouldn't..."
"C'mon, kid, do I seem like a lion to you? Just look at me. Besides, you'll certainly get hurt out here. I can help you."
"... Wow."
"What are you looking at?"
"Those... those stripes."
"Yeah, yeah, I know they're ugly! I've heard it about a million times already, I don't need it from you, too!"
"... A-Alright. That's not what I was going to say, though."
"Oh, really?"
"No, not at all."
"What were you going to say, then?"
"That they're... beautiful."
"... Really?"
"Yeah. I've never seen anything like it."
"But... I thought only my sister liked my stripes... everyone always picked on me for mine, they said they were weird... but anyway, why am I telling you this?"
"I dunno. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a bother."
"... Don't worry about it, I guess... although... do you want to know a secret?"
"Sure."
"I've never had any friends either, kid. So I know how it feels."
"I'm sorry."
"... It's fine. I don't mind much. ... Speaking of stripes, though, where are yours? Aren't you some sort of zebra?"
"No. I'm not a zebra. I'm a horse. My name's Skeidbrimir."
"Skeidbrimir..."
"Most call me Skeid, though."
"I see."
"And yours?"
"My what?"
"Your name."
"Oh... right... I'm Gemini. I'm... a tiger... I guess."
"You guess?"
"... Yeah. So I've heard. There aren't a whole lot like me around here."
"Me neither."
"But, err... yeah... listen... you really shouldn't be wandering alone, Skeid. I'll let you stay with me and my sister. Do you have any idea where you'll be going after this?"
"No clue, Gemini."
"Hmm... that gives me an idea, then... this might sound crazy, but... how'd you like to stay here? There's plenty of grass, and I'll make sure none of the lionesses getcha. How does that sound?"
"... Err... well... it doesn't sound like I have many other options, do I? ... Gemini?"
"Yeah?"
"Does this make us... you know... friends?"
"Friends?"
"Yeah."
"I dunno. Whaddya really need friends for, anyway?"
"I'm... I'm not sure. I'm just asking."
"You know what...? Yeah... yeah, I guess it does."
"I like the sound of that. A tiger as my first friend."
"Hmmm. Now that you mention it... I like the sound of that too, Skeid."
"So it's a deal then?"
"... Sure, why not?"

TBH, I'm not sure what a horse is doing in Africa or how these two would ever meet, but then I haven't thought about why a tiger is in Africa either so logic kinda isn't in this, this is more of a wishful-thinking-cameo-of-fursonas-meeting-thing. (Although Gemini does kinda need a backstory hmmm
).In any case, this pic is dedicated to all of my friends - past, present, and future. Regardless of whether I know you in real life, I know you on the forum, you're an FFn fan, or I just met you here, this is for you guys.
