Obviously I don't care if people assume that about me, so it's not really a bother, but stereotypes are ridiculous oftentimes. (Plus I don't care that much, I have my friends and for the most part they don't even care about girly things like shaving. lol)

Welp, Just saw Boyhood! I have only one word to describe this movie: Authentic. This movie was real. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is restricted. I saw part of myself in Mason, and part of everyone in Mason. This is definitely not a normal "movie", its more like a documentary on life.

I've lived as a child of a single mom with semi-frequent appearances by my father in the past few years. My father being a sorta musician, my mom, off and on, dating some asshole and later breaking up. Being passive with no real end goal in mind for a few years, and being moved around also semi-frequently. Well, I seem to be very very similar to Mason. I even played the same video games as him at his same age! The only thing I don't have in common in him is that he seemed to have a lot of mean friends, and a girlfriend I also noticed the lack of soundtrack/ambience in the movie made for very authentic dialogue. When the mom's first boyfriend was drinking and going off the hook at the dinner table, all that atmosphere was purely by the realism of the dialogue and acting. This movie was a Masterpiece! 10/10

Actually, I don't even have a thick beard at all and it still itches me when it gets "big". Either way though, I prefer to have smooth skin on my face. So I'm forced to shave basically every 1-2 weeks because of the re-growth and occasional itching.

And yeh I tend to shave twice a week as I don't like hairy legs or pits on me. But that's just me.
