Lilykit shrugged and nodded a bit. She didn't mind baths. That was, she didn't mind them too much. When she was just ready to scamper outside to visit Bluestrike for a quick lesson, it was quite frustrating when her mother sometimes called her over for a bath, or when she was doing something; like thinking.
After a long while, Tawnystar stepped up onto the Tallrock. Her head was held high, her green eyes shining. Her long tail was swishing back and forth, her ears flicking. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath the Tallrock!" she yowled.
Soon all the cats were adjusted and Tawnystar smiled at Littlekit and Lilykit. "Well," she meowed, "yesterday... there was too much rain to do the ceremony for three 'kits' we have here today. But they are no longer kits!" She flicked her tail again.
"Littlekit, Lilykit, Sparrowkit, step forward," she called.
Tawnystar was a bit excited; she had chosen herself to mentor Littlekit. She smiled down at Sparrowkit, who had immediately scampered ahead of his sisters, excited who his mentor would be.
Lilykit's paws were trembling with excitement as she slowly and respectfully stepped up behind her brother, motioning silently for her sister to go ahead of her.
[Hehe. Also, sorry if I get any of the ceremonial words and stuff wrong.]
